THE ELECTRIC LEAGUE OF MARYLAND, INC.

  1. The Electric League of Maryland, Inc. provides a vehicle for communication within the industry. It is as a liaison between electrical manufacturers and distributors of electrical products, inspectors and the local utility company.
  2. The League coordinates educational programs; activities with electrical contractors, manufacturers, distributors, homebuilders and other organizations and provides educational programs, fundamentals of the electric industry that attracts young people to our industry.
  3. The League encourages a code of ethics within the electrical industry that will enhance the professional standing of the membership in the community and offers an opportunity for social contact and involvement through scheduled social events.
  4. The League sponsors and conducts trade shows to promote the use of electricity and electrical equipment to the electrical industry and the general public.

-One year membership is only $25.00-

The Board has approved the 10% discount on all types of membership with a 2 year commitment.

  • To set up programs of training and education to further knowledge in the electrical industry.
  • To foster goodwill among the public and members of the organization by informing the public of new and improved products, electrical applications, and changes within the industry.
  • To promote better understanding and cooperation among the various branches of the electrical field.
  • To encourage a code of ethics that will enhance the professional standing of the membership within the community.
  • To establish a coordinating body to represent and promote the electrical industry in an active and professional manner.
